For the launch event of the Air Jordan 1 x Travis Scott, one of the most sought after pairs in 2019, we aimed to bring some authentic Astroworld vibes to the city of Berlin.
May 11th 2019 – 12pm: Hundreds of people are waiting in line to get into a former supermarket to grab a pair of Air Jordan 1 x Travis Scott. Inside this area fragments from Astroworld designed by Berlin artist Base23 traced the way to our live raffle. Once inside, the chance to get this sneaker was higher than everywhere else. Finest music entertained our guests while waiting to get called to pick a lot from the bowl. Our solebox team supplied all participants with cold drinks and sweets to shorten the time of waiting.
Being one of the most anticipated pairs in 2019, this first official Travis Scott and Nike collaboration was released with crazy details on it. The reverse swoosh, a little pocket and the Cactus Jack branding are just some aspects making this model unique in design and functionality.
