On Air Max Day, we celebrated uncensored innovation together with the Voodoo Club and solebox community at the AIR FACTORY in Barcelona. On a mission to bring fresh air to the community, we invited local fashion and design creatives for an immersive experience of failing forward.
Inside the AIR FACTORY, we teamed up with the Voodoo Club and Wekaforé for a day of endless creativity, including a customization workshop for creatives, archived stories about Voodoo Club, an editorial corner and public celebration until the end of the night.
During the customization workshop in the afternoon, selected creatives were invited to give Nike Life apparel their own touch, using different materials and innovative techniques. Under guidance by Voodoo Club’s Creative Director Wekaforé, everyone was invited to be fearlessly creative using machines like a laser printer, plotter, heat press, print gun, stitch gun and more.
Following the workshop, the celebrations continued with Vanuza and SlimboyFlacko from The Voodoo Club bringing sound from behind the decks. Attendees were able to create instant visual memories in the editorial locker room with the AIR FACTORY aesthetic. Limited numbers of the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 „Big Bubble“ were available for purchase on-site.
