After a successful first collection between solebox and Lufthansa, the two brands are partnering for a new collaborative apparel collection including selected accessories, featuring designs by German artist and illustrator Stefan Marx.
The latest collaboration builds on a pioneering partnership, merging art, culture, and commerce and promises greater artistic and cultural impact with Marx’s involvement.
In addition to classic apparel pieces consisting of T-shirts, hoodies and jackets featuring various aircrafts and typographic motifs, the joint collection will include accessories such as a woolen blanket with a type motif and an espresso cup created in partnership with the Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur (KPM Berlin).
As an avid air travel enthusiast, airplanes and airport sceneries have been a recurring element in Marx’s sketches, starting during a long layover in Vienna in 2007. When asked to collaborate with Lufthansa, his favorite airline, the artist jumped at the chance.
