2019 could not have been kicked off any better — With the launch event for the Air Max 720 we brought the newest fashion runner with the largest Air unit yet to Berlin Swoosh lovers in the most suitable set up. Read along if you couldn’t make it to pop by or spot yourself in our official recap.
Way before the doors of Zeiss Großplanetarium Berlin were set to open, a huge line drew the path across the enormous dome which was entirely shining in the 720’s first and exclusive purplish corlorway of the „Aurealia Borealis“, further stocked with solebox and Nike Air logo. (Big thanks all of you for waiting in the cold, though!)
We started the night with an impressive multidimensional degree animation taking us on a futuristic escape with its unrivaled 180 degree visualizations. Afterwards, Chris Danforth from Highsnobiety guided us through a panel talk with photographer @Kane and author Amadeus aka @ama302 on board both sharing their manifested opinion on the 720 and the general evolution of Air.
As we for sure did not let anybody go without properly clinking glasses, we further got together for a couple of drinks, good talks and good music. With „good music“ we actually stated way too low as we talk about the Korean Super DJ and face of 720 Peggy Gou, who entirely convinced the whole crowd with her super dope electric approach and her just so groovy and energetic set in her actual hometown Berlin.
We further granted the opportunity to pre-register for the 720 right at the event for a confirmed pick-up on release day Feb 1st instore at solebox Berlin. Whoever couldn’t come by – check our online shop for possible remaining sizes of the Air Max 720 online or in our various solebox locations.
Hey Berlin, you got us surprised again and again how massive you can turn up on a regular Tuesday evening. Thanks for the night, thanks for stepping with us on this futuristic journey. Hope you all appreciated the good vibes as much as we did!
