While the Nike Air Max 2 Light made a return as a retro release, Nike also worked on some collaborative iterations of the model. After initially spotting the catchy special edition at ComplexCon in November last year, the latest liaison from Nike and atmos is finally set to drop on April 5th at solebox.
Decorated by vibrant patchwork patterns the classic Air Max 2 Light overlays are also present, this time coming in a see-through construction to showcase the colorful upper. The extraordinary design pays homage to vintage Nike apparel from the 90s. Atop a clean white midsole with purple and light blue accents are sitting two mismatched and different uppers and laces. Lastly a red Air Bubble and black leather around the toes then finalize the model. It absolutely stands out through its different brightly-colored patches, featuring cut-up Nike branding all over the entire upper.
The model further comes with a matching patchwork apparel collection which includes a tracksuit, a long sleeve and a t-shirt as well as a cap and a tote bag.
Honoring the special edition in collaboration with Japanese befriended brand atmos, we are taking care to release the Nike Air Max 2 Light x atmos in the most authentic surrounding together with atmos‘ creative head Koji over at our Amsterdam pop up called THE GUESTHOUSE.
The Air Max 2 Light x atmos will be available online and instore at all our solebox locations from April 5th retailing at 160€. A selection of the collaborative apparel pieces will also be acquirable through us.
