On October 26th Puma will launch two new Rider silhouettes which take inspiration from the 80s – we put the models in the right spot and present you some impressions in advance. Check out our exclusive editorial down below.
Developed in the 80s, the Fast Rider is one of Puma’s most comfortable and innovative silhouettes. The model was launched back in the days when running moved from track to street. It is known for its shock-absorbing „Federbein“ outsole in addition to other innovative features. Now for 2019 Puma introduces the all new Fast Rider sneaker. The silhouette maintains signature details like a grippy, Federbein-inspired gum outsole and a leather and suede upper that is faithful to its predecessor.
The Future Rider is an archive-inspired style with hints of nostalgia in combination with modern design language. The model features a waffle-like rubber outsole and uppers made from a mix of textiles like functional ripstop nylon and buttery smooth suede. It seems like Puma’s approach is to influence our ever-evolving sneaker culture while remaining grounded in their sports heritage.
The Puma Future Rider OG and Fast Rider OG will be available from October 26th online only via solebox.com.
