The second drop from the New Balance Made in USA Summer 2023 line is here. Neutral colors and pastel tones highlight the 990v4 and 996.
First introduced in 1988, the 996 was the first major update to the flagship 99x series. It followed the 995, which released in 1986 with only subtle changes to the original 990 from 1982.
With the U996TA, New Balance adds contemporary flavor to a classic silhouette. Hairy suede in pink haze is complemented by off-white mesh, moon beam suede and white leather accents.
The 990v4 continued the tradition of tech design updates based on the original 990 formula. Introduced in 2016, it fine-tuned the pigskin suede and mesh upper and chunky ENCAP-cushioned sole of its predecessor, the 990v3.
The U990TE4 offers a fresh twist to the flagship dad sneaker. The limestone and white upper features light brown suede accents on the heel.
The New Balance Made in USA 990v4 and 996 will be available from July 27th via solebox.com, all solebox locations & MBCY Frankfurt.
