To celebrate the release of the Air Max 180 BLN on this year’s Air Max Day, we’ve come up with something really special. A digital rally was supposed to take all attendees to our secret pop up location where the exclusive shoe was released. Did you crack the code?
Just three days before the launch of the coveted Air Max 180, we began to communicate several questions of our digital rally throughout the day. For each question answered right one received a missing coordinate, which served to find our pop up location in Berlin. On the one hand there were fundamental questions about the Air Max 180, but also about techno and rave culture from Berlin. If you were among the lucky participants who got all 6 questions right and on top were fast enough to get to the venue to secure a pair: Congrats to you!
In our pop up location there was also an exclusive artwork by a Berlin artist duo who turned the shots of photographer Kane (@kanescans) into a collage on a concrete wall, in reference to rave posters on Berlin’s walls. Various textures and abrasion as well as the interaction of material and color ensured a unique look.
In order to assure the right vibes, local DJ team Selected Berlin supplied us with the finest sounds. A big thank you to our friends from Poké Bay, who once again provided us with good food as well as fritz-kola for keeping us hydrated.
