PUMA has partnered up with PLEASURES to give the new Velophasis a fresh look and feel with an all-purple makeover. With its roots in Los Angeles, the streetwear label frequently references punk rock and other music subcultures.
First introduced at the start of the year, the PUMA Velophasis checks all the boxes for a retrofuturistic sneaker with its technical materials, performance technologies and overstated shape.
PLEASURES applies a punk rock DIY-aesthetic to PUMA’S Y2K-inspired silhouette with a full purple overdyeing process.
The result delivers a unique customized feel with different shades of purple from the overstated ripstop nylon upper to the translucent cage, down to the chunky sole.
The PUMA x PLEASURES Velophasis will be available from June 24th via solebox.com
