To present the release of the new Nike Air Force x GORE-TEX collaboration in a slightly different way, we teamed up with the Polish artist TRUST to implement a so-called „eco-graffiti“. Additionally we wanted to draw attention to the waterproofness and refer of the GORE-TEX upper material of the shoes.
Just in time for the colder weather a variation of GORE-TEX Air Force 1 models in different colorways releases on November 1st. Contrasting “GORE-TEX” embroidery decorates the rear lateral side of each shoe, while a branded strip of technical fabric at the tongue completes the look. The layer of GORE-TEX membranes will keep your soles armored throughout the days of inclement weather. We tried to represent the weather resistance in the artwork as well. A couple of big waves just bounce off the silhouettes and have no chance to get them wet.
A 250 square meter big mural has been implemented on a wall, just by removing the layer of dirt accumulated on the wall with high-pressure water jets. The waterproof GORE-TEX material made us think about creating an eco-friendly artwork by just using water. We believe that this definitely deserves the title „eco-graffiti“.
