Nike links to their deconstructed series with two new upcoming models – the Drop-Type LX and the AF1-Type. To promote the launch of both silhouettes we’ve handpicked some selected apparel pieces from our assortment and shot an editorial to provide you some first impressions.
The AF1-Type is a redesigned rendition of the popular silhouette and clearly got influenced by the deconstructed approach from Nikes last collaborations with Virgil Abloh or sacai. The model features a mixed material upper with translucent parts on the lateral side, a heel strap instead of Swoosh branding as well as a doubled sole. The perfectly balanced colored parts are contrasting to the white shape and reveal a clean composition.
The Nike Drop Type LX is a new low-cut silhouette in the brands history. The model deconstructs a tennis shoe and strips it down to its essentials. Branding-wise it features a nylon base with N.354 lettering on it and Swoosh detailing on the heel and tongue. Other materials like cream-white colored leather and suede combined with the vulcanized sole create an aesthetic overall look. The silhouettes colored parts in blue and red are some prominent details on this upcoming summer silhouette.
Both shoes are available from July 15th in our solebox onlineshop and at all solebox locations. Every seen apparel from our editorial is available now in our onlineshop.
