On August 22, solebox & Nike invited our local community to celebrate the reboot of the Nike Air Max SNDR at solebox Paris. The event also marked the official introduction of our new solebox studio on the second floor of our Paris location at 31 Place du Marché Saint-Honoré.
After the Air Max SNDR first appeared around the millennium, it quickly became one of the most sought after sneakers. Now it’s time for the reboot – after a few limited collaborations, Nike brings back the unique silhouette in ‘Hyper Pink’ & ‘Volt and Black’.
To celebrate this reboot, we rebooted our solebox store in Paris in the style of a 90s video game arcade with arcade games and a claw machine on the shop floor while the walls were decorated with the Air Max SNDR. The new studio space upstairs was turned into a communal gaming space centered around the big couch.
In our new community space we hosted a tournament where people could win 1-of-10 custom solebox x SNDR gameboys & shoulder bags.
Going forward, the studio can be booked free of charge as a co-working space and features a set-up for panel talks or podcast recordings. If you want to know more about the studio and how to book it, click here.
As the evening went on, friends & family filled out the store, trying their luck on the claw machine where they had the chance to win vouchers, socks or a pair of Air Max SNDR. Check out the gallery for some impressions and a look at the new Nike Air Max SNDR color ways.
