We all love sneakers. We all have this certain story behind our common passion that led us to our individual sole addiction. And sometimes our sneaker passion is yet the inspirational spirit for our entire life projects. That’s why we are now introducing soletalk.
soletalk serves as a platform all around our local solebox communities, giving insights into various solelovers’ lives. solelovers talk – we listen.
As from now, we want to take you on a regular journey throughout our solebox based cities, giving local solelovers the chance to share their own personal story. Our local store staff will be talking to people who are madly in love with sneakers, and, or particularly because of this, came up with their individual inspiring life-projects.
Today we start off with Jaimie – solelover and chef from Amsterdam. Jaimie is what you call a real Nike addict, who discovered his passion for sneakers before the ability to read, posesses tons of SBs and even gives his own unique restaurant this personal sneakerlover twist. About Jaimie van Heije
Jaimie van Heije comes from a family where food was always central. As a little boy, he was already inspired by his grandmother’s Indian cuisine. After his catering industry, Jaimie van Heije has grown into a sauce chef at Ron Blaauw within a few years of help in the kitchen. After his teacher left his restaurant in Ouderkerk at the Amstel, Jaimie took his chance. The 33-year-old started his own restaurant »Jaimie van Heije« where he serves and creates his own dishes every day and is also co-founder of »The Avocado Show«.
