To celebrate the launch of our solebox Leica Q camera we hosted a Vernissage Event in the heart of Berlin. We teamed up with no less than Easy Otabor, Kane Holz and Michael Dupouy to exhibit a variety of photos they shot with the camera we exclusively gave to them a couple of weeks prior to the official launch. With this project we wanted to go one step further and point out that photography has become one of the most important and influential parts of street culture. Check out the full recap down below.
By creating our own Leica camera we wanted to follow up on our outstanding projects we created in the past and also work with the most influential and inspiring individuals that share our vision. The camera is limited to 6 pieces worldwide and made in Germany. It features a vegetatively tanned premium cowhide leather with solebox logo laser-engraving, a logo engraving atop as well as a customized leather strap with branded rivets.
Together with art & fashion related people from our community and beyond we exhibited the exclusive work of Easy Otabor, Kane Holz & Michael Dupouy. They are known for their creative energy and impactful work – also in the sneaker- and fashion scene.
We want to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate the launch of our solebox Leica Q. A special thank you goes out to Easy Otabor, Kane Holz and Michael Dupouy for working with us and making this project happen. Shout out to fritz kola and Spreewood Distillers for the drinks and Tuan Anh/Bassgang for providing the good vibes.
