Nike is pressing fast forward on Y2K style with a brand new silhouette. We teamed up with Berlin-based creative collective Sucuk & Bratwurst to showcase the V2K Run in a surreal world that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy.
The Nike V2K Run looks like it jumped straight from the high performance pages of a running shoe catalogue from the early 2000s. As the oversized silhouette floats through the streets of Berlin, the retrofuturistic design plays with virtual elements drawn from the Y2K era.
The versatile silhouette evokes nostalgia, offering the ultimate wardrobe staple, that naturally transitions from day to night. The mesh upper is framed by metallic synthetic leather and plastic overlays for unmistakable retro vibes.
Comfort is guaranteed by a dynamic dual-density sole with its extra chunky heel, combining a modern technical design with a vintage aesthetic.
The Nike V2K Run will be available on 25 August via solebox.com and all solebox locations.
