solebox has always been pushing the boundaries within sneakers and streetwear. To continue with our heritage we are proud to announce our first project for 2020: the made in Germany Leica Q by solebox. Our camera will be officially released on the 28th of February at our Vernissage event in Berlin – you will find detailed info below.
When you take a step back to look into our past you will find some of the most sought after New Balance releases but also a Rimowa suitcase, a Sinn watch, a Bugaboo stroller and many more unexpected projects.
Our Leica Q camera is limited to 6 pieces worldwide and made in Germany. It features a vegetatively tanned premium cowhide leather with solebox logo laser-engraving, a logo engraving atop as well as a customized leather strap with branded rivets. By creating our own Leica camera we want to follow up on these projects but also work with the most influential and inspiring individuals that share our vision.
Photography has become one of the most important and influential areas in our scene. That’s why we chose to work with Easy Otabor (Founder Anthony Gallery & Infinite Archives), Michael Dupouy (Founder ALL GONE) and Kane Holz (Freelance Photographer and Art Director from Berlin). We will exhibit various photographs, which they shot with the solebox Leica Q and show the most diverse places, moments and motifs in the world, from the everyday life of the artists.
You will have the chance to see both the camera and the exclusive content in Berlin plus meet the 3 photographers. Drinks by fritz kola and Spreewood Distillers on us and music by Tuan Anh/Bassgang.
