We might be right if we’re telling you that you’ve been waiting for this upcoming Air Max, especially if you’re female: the Air Max 90 ‚Cuban Link‘ is launching soon and features some very special details. For this release we teamed up with a young creative and true jewelry lover – Sanne, also known as @girlonkicks from Amsterdam. She will show you how she styles the silhouette and how you can get creative in celebration of this launch.
I’m a big fan of jewelry and I have been collecting jewelry for years. This Air Max with jewelry details is therefore right up my alley. I love the color way too; it gives me a bit of powerwall vibes and reminds me of cake (which I love too).
The Air Max 90 ‚Cuban Link‘ features a beautiful textile and leather upper in yellow with pink branding details atop a dark sole. The highlight of the shoe: the removable Nike Swoosh anklet.
Sanne created a mini DIY editorial for us using gold chains and strass elements. To recreate Sanne’s custom socks she designed you can „use all different kinds of materials and bling“. You can easily attach things with transparent thread to the socks. Make sure the socks are still stretch-able – otherwise you won’t be able to wear them afterwards.
I think jewelry is a big part of my personal style. I don’t leave the house without my jewelry. I also designed my own jewelry collab last year which was one of my most fun projects ever! It can really make (or break) and outfit. a basic outfits becomes more boujee with some good jewelry!
The Air Max 90 ‚Cuban Link‘ will be available from June 19th online and instore at all solebox locations in WMNS sizes from US 6.5 – 9.5 for 150 €.
