adidas Originals A-ZX series continues – a sneaker program celebrating the past and future of its iconic ZX franchise. Running since summer 2020, the series already saw adidas release new takes of the ZX ‚thousands‘ series – one for each letter of the alphabet – designed either in collaboration with a creative partner or as a one-off concept inspired by the Three Stripes‘ archive. Now we continue with the letter G, which in this case stands for ‚Golf‘.
Inspired by the concept of the shoe, we took the opportunity to bring together the worlds of golf and streetwear. We didn’t miss the chance to hit a few balls on the green and to do a few rounds in the golf cart!
The adidas ZX 8000 Golf’s white leather upper has a rugged finish that mimics the dimples of a golf ball. The black core tongue features a golf marker. A patch of imitated symbols, a lawn graphic and ADIDAS characters imitate the look of a golf ball.
The insole shows off decorated with a printed graphic, while the outsole adorns loud colors – the orange part of the sole references a typical tee, the green part stands for the golf course.
