Air Jordan x Patta Editorial

5. Juni 2019

The dutch streetwear- and sneaker retailer Patta is collaborating with Jordan brand again to bring the Air Jordan 7 back.

Set to release on June 15th, the Nike x Patta Air Jordan 7 Retro features a mixed suede and leather upper with conspicuous Patta branding on the sole and a jumpman on the lateral side. Additionally to the shoe Nike and Patta prepared an apparel collection which also will be available at solebox.

Arriving in contrasty colors including velvet-red, brown-mahogany and pink the latest collaborative Air Jordan 7 between Jordan Brand and dutch retailer Patta is a clean new interpretation of the historical sneaker. Guillaume “Gee“ Schmidt, one founder of Patta who was a MC in the 90’s and 2000’s said he loves the iconic silhouette since its release in ’92. He connects personal aspects with the first release of the Jordan 7 back in 1992, primary because it was a great year for hip hop and black empowerment.

The apparel of the collaboration contains  a jacket, bucket hats, t-shirts, pants and shorts. Patta revives original patterns of Jordan clothing from ’92 and branded them with combinations of the jumpman, a script logo and “TEAM PATTA“ word marks.

The collaborative Patta x Air Jordan collection including the Air Jordan 7 and various apparel pieces will be available from June 15th via solebox.com and instore at all solebox locations.
