Introducing: Helmut Lang

19. Oktober 2018

The label Helmut Lang debuted in 1986 as one of the first minimalistic fashion labels. Helmut Lang stands for its sharp-lined silhouettes and quiet color schemes as well as striking simplicity ushered in the understated look of the early 90s with garments timeless enough to outlast the decade’s trends.

In 2007 the brand was relaunched while consistently keeping up with new trends. Today, the collections are designed by a network of thinkers, artists and photographers which try to champion and further the progressive, pioneering the spirit of the house’s founder.

In 1998, Helmut Lang was the first designer brand to advertise on taxis, with a campaign that ran on 275 yellow cabs in New York City. With its newest “Taxi Project“ capsule collection, Helmut Lang is paying homage to this defining historical moment.

Furthermore some upscale pieces of the latest AW collection arrived in our store. Minimalistic aesthetic influenced by contemporary art signifies his high-tech fabrics. The brand itself showcases an urban style marked by clean lines, rigorous tailoring and luxe materials. Nowadays the label creates essential garments for the new avant-garde.

Helmut Lang Apparel is now available online at solebox.com and in our solebox Munich store.
