When NIKE is bringing back some of their legends, there is definitely no way around paying adequate tribute to it. Thus, we invited to the LOOKING BACK TO THE FUTURE air exhibition by ICEBERG to our solebox Pop Up store.
To honor the current series of Air Max comeback, we took all air lovers on a mutual journey back to when it has all started. And how to do better than surrounding the upcoming air re-launches with an exhibition of the real OGs that even Nike doesn’t have on their shelves? Yes, exactly. That’s why we reached out to devoted air collector ICEBERG who stocks a number of rare gems in his warehouse covering more than 4.000 scarce models, 2.000 of them being Air Max.
In mutual organization with Nike, we invited to our LOOKING BACK TO THE FUTURE exhibition at solebox Pop Up Berlin, where ICEBERG showcased a variety of his first scarce cops while – at the same time – air heads could get their hands on the relaunched retro models. The entire exhibition could be entered from Feb. 2nd – Feb. 10th from 11am – 7pm each day (except Sunday).
On February 2nd we initially opened the doors to our LOOKING BACK TO THE FUTURE exhibition with a kick off brunch together with no other than ICEBERG himself. Provided with some good cups of coffee and yummy snacks, air lovers reached out for some deep Air Max history talks and certainly to get their hands on the latest Air Max drops (180, 270, 93) straight to cop in our Pop Up.
As impressions show, there couldn’t be a better surrounding to get hands on the latest Air Max retro models while also honoring its wide history.
