We are excited to introduce the new 9060 silhouette by New Balance, a model inspired by the 990 franchise, the visible tech-led aesthetic of the early 2000s and the brand’s performance running heritage.
Drawing inspiration from the organic, yet technical vibe of the silhouette and colorway we created an editorial featuring picturesque backgrounds in nature and have positioned the model in an exceptional context through fashionable styling.
The 9060 utilizes familiar components from previous footwear models and repurposes them through a more modern, expressive lens. Featuring an extended N logo, the new silhouette celebrates the technology in the 990 series and early 2000s running shoe styles like the 860.
The midsole takes a more exaggerated approach in comparison to the silhouettes that inspired it. Other design features include a thicker and clear CR device, badge on the tongue, diamond shaped outsole, and a split at the heel.
The first iteration of the New Balance 9060 will launch at solebox online and instore at all solebox locations on July 16th for a retail price of 150 €.
