Last weekend we merged the creation of unique Nike apparel with self-expression in a hands-on upcycling workshop, together with Melisa Minca in Berlin. In celebration of the Nike Air Force 1 High ‚Sculpt‘, a few lucky winners were invited to learn how to bring their creativity in fruition and connect with like-minded people.
In a newly created space next to solebox Berlin, we teamed up with Melisa Minca to celebrate the release of the Nike Air Force 1 High ‚Sculpt‘. Twelve winners were invited to bring their ideas to life by creating unique apparel, using reclaimed and vintage Nike garments.
In groups of four, Melisa and her team taught and guided all attendees personally while crafting their own pieces of layered creativity, mixing elements from the past and the present. 2G+ rules applied for all people onsite.
Melisa Minca is a Berlin-based up cycling enthusiast and designer. Her interest in ethical fashion started to grow when she was studying Sustainable Development.
In 2018 she launched her own online-shop where you can find her collections of upcycled and reworked one-of-a-kind clothes designed, made by herself and her team in Berlin.
