At first the shoe was introduced as a performance basketball sneaker, but the silhouette quickly received a lot of attention outside of the basketball court, as for example in the skater scene and in the world of fashion. The latest iteration of the Blazer Mid features a remarkable snakeskin look. The leather upper is adorned with suede accents by a snakeskin swoosh and matching heel detail. The extended foam tongue is decorated with retro Nike branding.
