For the newest Nike Sportswear x Carhartt WIP launch, we asked six relevant local artists to interpret the products through their individual art approach. Following our mission „from the streets, for the streets“, we now aim to give our activation a more sustainable meaning by auctioning the art works and donating the proceeds to homeless Viennese. Read along to do something good!
Last week we celebrated the launch of the latest Nike x Carhartt WIP collection with an instore event at our solebox store in Vienna. Six local artists interpreted the products through their individual angle, while some of them even manufactured their art works live at the event getting the guests involved into the entire production process. Let us give you guys a big thank you at this point for stepping by and spending the night with us.
Following our mission „from the streets, for the streets“, we now intend to auction off the art works for the sake of homeless Viennese adults. As nothing is more valuable than finding a warm sleep and having access to food during these cold winter days, we mutually decided with the local artists and Nike Sportswear to transfer the entire returns to Caritas Vienna.
In the following we want to show you all the different art works so you can pick your favorite before submitting your bid. For all Viennese people out here, you can also still marvel at the canvas in our Vienna store within the next week. So don’t hesistate to try your luck on getting your hands on one of these incredibly nice pieces of art while equally making an effort for the homeless.
A special thanks goes definitely out to our highly talented artists @paul.busk, @sskirl, @kyros_kyros, @amoakoboafo and @fatis_gram who put all their efforts in helping us to support homeless teenagers to find a place to sleep. You guys are precious!
How to bid for you favorite drawing:
- With the proceeds we want to support homeless Viennese adults in cooperation with Caritas Vienna. All donations are transferred 100%. The auction starts Dec. 12th and ends Dec. 19th. Once the auction has ended, the highest bidder will be informed instantly by our auction platform ebay. The pictures have to be picked up at the store or transports will be charged extra.
