The Nike Air Max Deluxe ‚Photo Blue‘ is the latest vintage silhouette to enjoy a major revival. Last seen back in ’99, the ambitious, futuristic runner was inspired by the frenetic energy of rave culture in Europe and the UK, first making its appearance during a time when the hype of rave was at its height.
Nike utilized the exact same midsole as for the Air Max 97 with a visually exciting upper constructed of neoprene and thick woven fibres for a structured shell. The iteration showcases a theme of blue and ‘wolf grey‘ whilst the full length air unit features an ‘orange peel‘ accenting staying entirely true to an OG colourway as a debut of further modifications to come.
The late 90s silhouette has become somewhat of a cult favorite among Air Max heads, now, two decades after its original release, still looking as fashion-forwards as ever.
